Froyur, the best tourboat in the Faroes, operated by Skuvadal

Although there are many boats in the Faroes, only very few are proper tourboats, like our new Froyur.

There are comfortable seats for all passengers, inside or out on deck. Also large windows give our passengers the best possible view, whilst in the cabin. The special design of the boat makes it very stable in the sea. Even when the sea is a bit choppy, the passengers feel very little, because they sit so low in the boat when inside. 

There are two sightseeing decks. The upper deck provides the passengers with the best possible view. Here 25 of the 48 passengers can sit comfortably. On the aft deck there are 12 seats plus room for 10 standing.

Froyur is also equipped with 10 loudspeakers so all onboard, inside as well as outside, can hear the guide. A flatscreen in the passenger cabin gives information about speed, position, bearing, depth etc.

The boat also has a 220 volt installation, kitchen with microwave, cooking fascilities, hot and cold water etc.

Of course, there is also a toilet on the boat.
