Who started with this tour?
Vestmenningar (people from Vestmanna) have taken tourists out to the birdcliffs for decades. One of them was Fríðrikur Bláhamar, and when he felt, he was getting too old and tired, he asked Bjarki Skuvadal to take over. Bjarki had then, in 1977, just gotten his first boat, Urðardrangur, and he is still sailing. The Skuvadal family company was founded in 1997.
